The high water has forced the town of Summit to close Genessee Lake Road.
You won't be able to launch a boat at either Middle or Lower Genessee for the opener this weekend.
Fowler, Ottawa, Lower Nashotah and Paradise Springs are alternative options for trout fishing this weekend.
High water conditions continue on most, if not all area lakes. Be aware of any special and slow no-wake restrictions in place for the water you are fishing this weekend.
