The Jefferson and Ft Atkinson launches are open, but the piers were not yet in at the Hwy 26/Kmart Launch.
There is still a good quantity of ice and debris in the river, and the rising water is moving more hazards down river.
Prepare for stiff current. If drifting, you'll need heavy jigs, if anchoring, you'll need some mass and keep the knife handy to cut your line if necessary.
Flooding is expected by the weekend. A few fish are being reported caught, but not any significant numbers yet.
