Monday Updates

A couple of updates:

First, the Hook and Look Television program is about smallmouth fishing on Lake Delavan this week.

April Show Schedule
7th, 8th, 10th "Sight Fishing Smallmouths" Love it or condemn it... Kim takes an in-depth look into the highly controversial art of sight fishing for bedding bass. The clarity of Wisconsin's Lake Delavan offers an ideal location to demonstrate the technique and provide awareness. Kim emphasizes the importance of "Immediate Catch & Release" and presents a conservational perspective in regards to reducing the likelihood of brood predation. A Texas rigged Strike King "Bleeding Tube" is the featured lure in episode two.

River conditions appear to have stabilized on the Rock and Crawfish rivers. Walleyes are being reported in all three stages of the spawn, with whitebass in the current breaks and creek mouths. Fishing should be great for a couple of weeks.

The local lakes are open, and a few panfish are starting to move shallow. If we get some warm afternoons, expect the crappie and bluegill fishing to start happening very quickly. Water is in the Mid 30's to low 40's on most lakes, but with the cold nights, it is going up and down.

Good Luck,
CT
